I had some discussions with the brothers here. We came up with a list of stuffs that people like to do. The stuffs that I 'like' and try to avoid as well as the stuff you might like as well. Read on the list. Here it goes;
1. Reading people's notebook/diary.
2. Knowing the title of a book somebody's reading.
3. Searching for people's bookmarks while using their computer.
4. Skimming through people's inbox. Or even worse, reading them...either in email or handphone(please don't read mine).
5. Knowing people's savings while they are on the netbank webpage.
6. Knowing what someone is up to in their daily rutine.
7. Skimming through people's YM list and looking at their archives.
8. Knowing people's examination result.
9. ....just can't think of what goes here, or maybe the next...maybe a few more...or...I don't know..you think of it.

Well not just to list all the stuffs here, what I'm trying to do here is to tell ourselves of how many things that we like to which is a contradiction with what we memorize from the hadeeth of Rasulullah s.a.w.(orientalist and some 'conservative' people would rather call it 'tradition').
What is the hadeeth? Let me just give you the hint of the 'matan' of the hadeeth(mafhumnya hampir seperti ini);

Well...what do you think we should do with the list? Keep it going or terminate the validity of the list to our daily rutine? I've been trying to do so for such a long time but it is just so hard. May Allah give us the strength to improve our state of iman, and to abandon those of which is not related to us. Ameen.
