Confidence

Sometimes we look after great thoughts and ideas. As if they could save the earth from the ever circulating social problems. Often we forget that simple but critical ideas and words exist which are more effective in telling us of what to do and how to do them. Found a short flash video about confidence, optimism and faith in islamonline.net. Simple words with great audio to caress the heart and calm down the eager, mind-blowing thoughts.

Confidence is

>a reflection of our outlook towards life in which the positives and negatives are a series of lessons and the fruits of which one can grasp or foolishly give away.
--->i think it is. what we've been through would be the constants or arrays which we can always look back at and utilize it again at present or future. I believe those who put aside their past and histories without able to learn and ponder them should put themselves in a waste pool. Histories are so valuable that you can't change nor erase them. They are your best treasures. Make use of them to improve yourself and to help make good decisions.

>a part of our faith. "Nay, verily with me is my Lord. He will guide me." (Asy-Syuara 26:62)
--->hence no further should I explain nor express.

>knowing we have nothing to lose. "In order that you may not grieve at the things that you fail to get, nor rejoice over that which has been given to you. And Allah likes not prideful boasters." (Al-Hadid 57:23)
--->I believe we should all do. What ever happens(put aside death) we still have to go on. Like history, even if the five Hang's in Malacca were not Malay, they were still part of history. What they did should be learned and reflected. Who they were might just make us be among those who are prideful boasters. If we fail in tasks, we learn that more should be done, and creative thinking should be incorporated maybe. We gain probably as equal to what we lost, or maybe more. Recall death, if we had been as obedient to Allah and Muhammad s.a.w. as a slave would to his master, smile to the last breath that you might not lose anything.

>knowing that we are limited by our weaknesses and realizing that Allah Most Forgiving, Compassionate, and All-Wise God. "Allah wishes to lighten (the burden) for you; and humans were created weak." (An-Nisaa' 4: 28).
--->This will surely be a good reason why we are not perfect. But it's not a reason why we should not strive to be near perfect. Let us try to understand and predict our weaknesses so that we may try to hinder faults known to us and find a way out from them. I guess this can be a good reason why suicide is not legitimate to the law of social nature; where as in islam, hell raises over to greet you if you commit suicide.

>knowing that we're not expected to be gods.
--->so admit your weaknesses and find the cure if there exist one or more to them. It would be the best to admit that we're going on with a sense of satisfaction about ourselves and our All-Wise God, Allah. That's what we're supposed to do, aren't we?

Salam.
